No one wants to be alone at Christmas time

Andrew and I took a 13 hour road trip to Alabama for Christmas...
We spent 10 days together in all...
He met my family...

My entire family....

Despite everyone's concerns, we didn't kill each other...

In fact, we had a great time and we still really like each other.

Here comes the cold
Break out the winter clothes.
And find a love to call
your own.
You - enter you
Your cheeks a shade of pink.
And the rest of
you in powder blue.
Who knows what will be
But I'll make you this
guarantee
No way November will see our goodbye
When it comes to December
it's obvious why
No one wants to be alone at Christmas time

Skinny Jeans on Me?

I want to wear skinny jeans.

I'm finally admitting it. I never thought I'd be into them, in fact I opposed them with a vengeance at first. But now I think they're almost essential. Skinny jeans look great with boots, flats, and heels...and I want them to look great on me.

If you're a girl, you know that it's already hard enough to find a pair of jeans that look good. I've got a feeling that finding skinny jeans that look good on me is going to be even harder. So, I'm starting today on my quest for skinny jeans. Here are some tips I picked up from a fashion website:

DO
• Try on everything. A skinny jean from one brand will fit entirely differently from that of another brand.• There are three widths to choose from -- straight, skinny and super-skinny. The easiest and most widely appealing will be the straight jean. It is closest to a boot cut and will flatter most women. If you are more comfortable, then move on to a skinny. • To hide figure flaws, try the new skinny black jean. With a lean black top and heeled boots, it will hide those hips and will create a long, lean silhouette.

DON'T
• Don't be afraid of the skinny jean.• Don't worry too much about the brand. Worry more about the fit and make sure that you're comfortable with your pick. • Don't shop alone but don't bring a gang of friends. Bring along that one friend whose opinion you trust the most.

The "Working" Lunch

There are a few of us here in the office (Kate, Michael, and myself) who think that our staff and our ridiculous situations would make a hilarious television show (kind of like The Office). Now this is probably because we're actually a part of this group and we think our lives are much more interesting and funny than anyone else does. But really who doesn't think that way? Anyway...I wanted to share a typical escapade that makes me think that our office would make a funny television show.

Today, during ummm my free time, I composed a list of local lunch spots for our staff and categorized them by location. We all voted and then went to the location that received the most votes. So from now until we reach the end of the list, I propose that we continue this tradition and never eat at the same place twice. And here's the list...

Close to the Church: Subway, Willie's, Panera, Applebee's, Chipotle, El Fresh Taco, Cracker Barrell, Quizno's, Murphy's Deli, Palio's, Ruby Tuesday, Firehouse Subs

Mason Road/Westgreen: Chili's, Qudoba, Taco Cabana, Chang's, Wild Wing Cafe', Black Eye Pea, Jason's Deli, Chick-fil-a, Spring Creek BBQ
